If you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. If you are a post-operative patient of the practice with an urgent concern, use the number you were given at discharge.

Results and individual variation

Where this site describes what a treatment typically does, recovery timelines, or the size of a result, those are general descriptions drawn from the literature and from clinical experience. Individual results vary, sometimes substantially. No outcome is promised or implied anywhere on this site, and there are no patient photographs on this domain at all.

Evidence changes

Each guide and verdict shows the date it was last reviewed. Between those dates, the literature moves. Where a page has gone past its stated review cadence, the page says so. How the grades are assigned is set out in the editorial policy.
