A Randomized Trial of Lower-Face Neuromodulator Dosing
A randomized, double-blind trial in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal mapped injection points and escalating doses for botulinum toxin in the lower face. The lower face is where the muscles are doing more work than most people realize, and where a few units in the wrong place changes a smile rather than a line. Mapped dosing studies are how that becomes a technique rather than an individual injector's preference.
