Writing in Elle, plastic surgeon Lara Devgan sets out the cosmetic treatments she declines for herself and steers patients away from. The genre is worth more than most aesthetic coverage, because a list of what somebody refuses is harder to fake than a list of what they recommend. It is also the question almost nobody asks in a consultation, and the one that separates a physician thinking about your face over a decade from one thinking about today.
